Data about the community, for the community

Making Research Accessible.

One of the key challenges at JPR was that much of its research, while robust and widely respected, remained largely within academic and professional circles. There was an opportunity to make this data more accessible and relevant to broader audiences across the Jewish community.

I led the development of a new approach to presenting JPR’s data - creating a series of accessible, topic-led outputs designed to connect existing research with current events and ongoing public conversations. This included the introduction of a new factsheet format, allowing us to extract and present key data points in a clear, timely, and engaging way.

The aim was not to simplify the research, but to make it usable - enabling community members, organisations, and media to engage with the data more easily and apply it in real-world contexts.

This shift allowed JPR to respond more effectively to current affairs, increased the visibility of its research across digital platforms and media coverage, and ensured that existing data could be used more consistently and strategically throughout the year.

ceases to be serious when people laugh
